Looking at design with fresh eyes is where the joy of teaching lies. Susanne lectured for a week at the University of Augsburg in November. In workshops, she opened up the world of branding and design to the students. In addition to personas, brand values and an overview of brand architecture, the students had the chance to develop their own projects as well as conceptualize new ideas. The symbiosis of theory and practical implementation made the week entertaining and activating.
About the lecturing week
A total of 19 designers from five countries come to Augsburg and transform the faculty into a vibrant workspace with a wide range of workshops. This year, the program is particularly diverse. It ranges from visual mapping to illustration, social design and lettering to brand design and experimental design as well as concrete poetry and performing arts. Over the course of five days, faculty students can immerse themselves in new topics, genres, and media practices that are not on the semester schedule, experiment with new tools, and have the opportunity to meet guest lecturers.
