eRecycling made user-friendly: Relaunch of the SENS eRecycling website.
SENS eRecycling is one of the leading take-back systems for electrical and electronic equipment in Europe and plays a key role in nationwide recycling in Switzerland. In 2023, SENS eRecycling approached Suan with specific challenges, aiming to restructure its website. The result is a timeless appearance that positions SENS eRecycling as a competence center for eRecycling and the circular economy, while also inviting users to explore the content.
The request centered around three main goals: making content easier to find, optimizing communication for different target groups, and giving projects such as the Circular Platform greater visibility. Suan fundamentally redesigned the website, especially the information architecture. With the relaunch in August 2025, right after the summer holidays, the platform moves closer to the new target group of consumers while also offering significantly simplified navigation for partner companies.
To strengthen the modern interface design, SENS relied on a clear visual language developed by Suan. A specially organized photo shoot provides authentic imagery that reflects the diversity of stakeholders and makes the content more tangible. Combined with the modern interface and a clear UX language, this creates a timeless digital experience.
“Our website is the central hub for recycling topics for a wide range of user groups. With the new design, we make information more accessible and create an experience that is both engaging and trustworthy,” says Nando Erne, Head of Marketing & Communications at SENS eRecycling.
The concept and design of the new website were developed by SUAN Conceptual Design. Text production was handled by Diego Stocker (Textosteron) and photography by André Scheidegger (Moodpix GmbH). The technical implementation was carried out by Open Interactive.
