The Cultural Management course of the University of Basel imparts broad competencies at the interfaces between culture and other social systems such as law, economy and politics through education and training. SUAN created SKM’s new key visuals used in layout, advertising and the web and designed the brochures that explain the current course offerings. The carefully selected subjects are symbolically based on the theme of the respective study program. The objects are visually linked to each other and their environment by taut bands: they do not exist on their own, but always in the context of their environment.
The creative processing of text and images in the layout uses simple, geometric forms, which are different for each study program and fit in well with the current corporate design of the University of Basel.
